Recently we held a Holiday Open House to spotlight our next venture. We are happy to announce that you can now SHOP with SHE Degree.  The response from the Open House was great! So we are very excited to share this next SHE Degree step with you.

And we cannot wait to share them with you.  To shop, visit our Facebook page.  We have an album filled with items.  Quantities are limited, so don't hesitate too long.

To order, simply comment "SOLD" and your email address. We can meet if you are local and if you are not, we will be happy to ship to your home or a gift recipient.

SHE OF THE MONTH

Hey Y'all,

Happy Monday and Happy April!! Hope both are off to a good start for you. This month we get to do one of our favorite things ~ sharing with you our SHE of the month.  Say Hello to ~
Kay Billingsley.

Kay is a busy wife & mom. After her 3rd baby was born she wanted to leave the corporate world and has had her own business, Treasured Keepsakes, personalized clothing, gifts and home items for 20 + years. (You know we love monograms around here.)   Her work is beautiful.

Kay has made so many items for me.. shower gifts, logo items for the office I work in, pocket t-shirts, fishing shirts and even some super cute white Nike running shorts for an extra special Bride to Be last year.  You can see just a few of her items here. Kay likes to spend time with her clients and help them design their item. There are so many options: colors and fonts and size and placement...  Luckily, Kay knows what looks great so don't worry if you aren't sure what you want- she can definitely help you choose something special.

Something I appreciate, is that you can purchase items from Kay or if you prefer something a little different, take her your own things to personalize.  And if you are a fly by the seat of your pants kind of girl, she has some really cute premade items that are great for new babies or thank you / hostess gifts.  Kay is also great on turn around time, but during "peak seasons" additional time may be needed.

SHE is Supportive

Hey  Y'all,

 

We have so much fun as the SHE Degree group. We enjoy each others company and although we are all a little different ~ in a good way, we are so alike.  I wish you all could all hang out with us. Lots of laughing & of course delish food... we have to taste our recipes before we share them with you.  One of the most important aspects of the SHE degree project is showing support for each other and the friends we share this with.  The premise of the SHE degree is to share knowledge that we have with others and hopefully have them teach us things they know about.  But we are also an encouraging voice. Who doesn't need an extra cheerleader on their team!  When our blog posts go live each day you can rest assured that the iPhone beeps will start going off.  "great job today" "loved the post!" "blog was fabulous~ Just like you!".  Now don't you think that makes a girl feel excited?  It certainly does.  We want to be an encouragement to you all too.  That is why we are so happy to have the opportunity to promote our friends who are entrepreneurs making a difference in their family and our community. Our plan is to promote one business each month and of course we will have an awesome #giveaway.

Meet Caroline ~

In February we are showcasing our sweet friend, Caroline Cook. She is a local artist, wife, mom and all around fabulous lady. Caroline has a precious studio, Palette 2 Palate .  It has really grown over the past year. It is located in Chatt R Bug .  A very neat building with Caroline's studio, a caterer and gift shop that features local artists.  We have been a few times for painting classes, (no worries she can teach anyone to paint surprisingly well), and wreath classes. She taught Brittney and I how

to make deco mesh wreaths with her sweet daughter, Abbie.  So fun and we learned to make something we can use to decorate our homes.  We were able to join her last week for a Color Away Your Stress night.  It was so much fun! Do you know how relaxing it is to color??  Oh my~ you need to give it a try.  I think we are all hooked!!  We also had a yummy dinner catered by Simply Savory Events

Caroline has graciously offered a gift certificate for a free painting class to one lucky February winner.  Be sure to sign up and invite your friends too.  She has classes for any type group ~ friends, children and couples also a fun girls night out or stress free bridal party event.  The classes are fun and laid back ~ you can have a fun time with your friends or drop by and make new ones.  Visit her website or Facebook page for event information.
