Hi I’m Courtney! I’m a mid-twentysomething SHE trying to make the most out of life.

I married my Nick in August 2014 and I love being a Mrs. My mother picked out my husband for me… no one thought we’d end up married, but here we are. I guess the saying mother knows best is true! We’re the proud parents to our sweet fur-baby, Mack. He’s a German Shepherd/Lab/Mastiff/something mix and the biggest baby you’ll ever meet. We found him on a Craigslist posting from someone trying to get rid of the puppies they just had. It is the best spur of the moment decision we’ve ever made! You'll probably see me talk a lot about him in my posts because I'm a little bit obsessed!

This is my little family!

I work an 8-5, Monday through Friday desk job as a Communications Specialist, so I try to make the most of my weekends. I love to craft and bake and am constantly thinking of ways to make a career out of that. Like most, I have very expensive taste on a very tight budget so I'm learning to make the most of what I have! I hope I'm able to teach you the same.

 I’ve spent the last few years having friends come to me with questions (or I'm just standing there when they're trying to figure something out...) and when I don’t know the answer I call my mother – and she always knows! So I’m so excited to teach everyone all there is to know about being a she!
