As any southern lady will tell you ~ Life is all about faith,
family, friends & food.
I am blessed to be a wife to Mike, my high school sweetheart,
Brittney’s mom – yes , she is an only but I am proud to say most of the time
you wouldn’t know it. And now I am a mother
in law to Andrew, a perfect match for our sweet Brittney. We have a great extended family with sisters
and parents who love us in spite of ourselves. I work full time as an office manager outside
of our home too.
Mike & I could
not have been happier to welcome Andrew into our family in June 2015. He fit to our very close knit party of 3
perfectly. For the last year and a half
I have also been helping plan their wedding and was the hospitality crew for
all the volunteer workers who helped to build their home. We have been blessed with the best family
& friends. This has made Mike & I empty nesters and we are off to the next stage of life and very
excited to see where it takes us. Like most other SHE’s I wear many hats. I love
them all as each has made me who I am today and will help me be who I want to
be tomorrow.
I love spending time with my family, the beach, sweet tea, October
's (We celebrate my sweet hubby’s birthday, our 33rd anniversary and
my birthday all rolled into one beautiful month) & the holidays. I am a
wannabe crafter as I collect lots (LOTS) of craft supplies…. Finished products are
often “Pinterest fails” or remain as craft supplies. I hope to improve on this.
I like to cook, coupon (nothing extreme but love the game of
saving my family’s money), read when I have the time, & clean when necessary. And I believe in traditions, common courtesy
& big family dinners. I can’t wait
to share some of my favorites with you.
I have plenty of SHE experience ~ as you see I have been doing this a
while.
I knew I was in love
and couldn’t wait to marry Mike. However,
I had no idea how much there was to do to maintain a home. My mom made it look too easy I guess. I had so much to learn without the help of
Google or Pinterest. But I did it… with the help of my SHEs
whispering in my ear.
As you meet each of us, you will see that our lives are
woven together for a purpose. We think
it is to share our SHE experiences with you and hope that you will become part
of our family as you earn your SHE Degree.
I can’t wait to hear from you. We
started this adventure to help our young SHE’s all to be the best SHE they can
be. We want to prepare them to share
with our in the very far future SHE
babies.
But that will be another
adventure.
