Hey Ya'll! I hope your week is going well so far. As we enjoy the last few days of April, I can't help but get excited for summer. We are so close! Even though I am no longer in school, I still get excited for the season. Our summer months seem to be filled with more time outside, less structured schedules, and overall a more relaxed state of mind. This summer I have decided I want to accomplish a few goals, one being to read more. I was never a big reader growing up, I think it was mostly due to "required" reading for school, so when I had time to read for pleasure, I never wanted to. Now that those days are over, I have slowly embraced reading.

If you read last week's blog, I mentioned I read the new Harper Lee book, Go Set a Watchman. I really enjoyed it, but now that I'm finished with it, I am looking for something else to start. So, I did a Google search of the "best books ever". I was certainly surprised to see what all was listed. I quickly realized I had actually seen the movie versions of multiple titles listed: The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, The Time Traveler's Wife, The Help, etc. Now I feel like I need to read the books just to see what the movie added or left out. My gut instinct tells me the books will be far better, they always are!

To narrow things down, I made a list of a few I wanted to read over time. I love the classics, The Great Gatsby, To Kill a Mockingbird, etc. So I looked for more classics to check off my list. The first (and probably longest) being, Gone with the Wind.

Next,  Little Women.

The Help. I loved, loved this movie. I can only imagine how much I will love the book.

For me, this is a pretty good start for summer reading. Hopefully, I will be able to tackle these, and add a few more to my list! Are you a big reader? What are your favorite books? I would love to have recommendations!

  3. Cleansing is the first step in any face care routine. It involves using a facial cleanser or face wash to remove dirt, oil, makeup, and impurities from the skin. Choose a cleanser that suits your skin type, whether it's dry, oily, combination, or sensitive.

Toning: Toning is an optional step that can help rebalance the skin's pH, remove any remaining traces of cleanser, and tighten the pores. Toners can also provide additional hydration or address specific skin concerns. Apply toner using a cotton pad or by gently patting it onto the skin.https://trendybeauti.com/products/hyaluronic-acid-2-b5-serum
