SHE: Packs it Away

Hey Y'all,

We are starting to have some nice dips in the temperature. That can only mean "sweater weather" is on the way.  It's time to pack away the summer items and start lining your closet and dresser with leggings and sweaters and sweatshirts.  I move all my summer items out of my closet and pack them away for the winter.  It gives me more closet space and keeps things a little more organized. A few things to think about before you begin.

I recommend that you take your time doing this. Use it as an opportunity to purge but also to repair.

1) Be sure they are clean before you pack them away, six month in a storage tub allows all sorts of stains to appear.
2) Evaluate the quality of life left in the items... do you really need to hang on to that ratty t-shirt you will never wear again? This goes for all the stained, torn, faded items in your closet.  It will make more sense to toss it out now.
3) Check for any needed repairs: are all the buttons in place? How is the hem?
4) And my personal favorite...does it still fit? No? Toss it/ donate it.  In the event you lose weight~  you will want to reward yourself with some "new" items.
5) Pack items neatly. You will be so happy you have next Spring when you do the wardrobe swap.

Hope you all have a great week. October is my birthday month~  so let the celebrating (and sweater weather) begin.

                                                                                                  xoxo,
