Do you ever wish that there was one cleaning product out
there that can clean your whole house? Hydrogen peroxide is pretty darn
close! Remember that brown bottle your
mom always cleaned your cuts with? Yes – this is the same thing! Below is a
quick list of some cleaning tasks you can tackle with one bottle, but know that
there are hundreds of things you can do with this!
1.
Blood.
If you have kids (or in my case a husband that likes to slid into home at his
weekly kickball game…) you’re bound to have blood stains on your clothes at
some point. Pour on some hydrogen peroxide and throw it in the wash! (note: if
it’s a big deep stain you may have to repeat this step. The key is to not
dry the clothing item until the stain is out.)
2.
Mirrors. No
more windex and no more streaks! Just spray it on your mirrors and wipe off
with paper towel. Ta-da!
3.
Toilet
Bowl. Pour ½ cup of hydrogen peroxide in your toilet bowl and let sit for about
20 minutes. When you come back, scrub out the bowl with your toilet brush.
While you’re there go ahead and then pour some hydrogen peroxide on the brush to
keep it germ free.
4.
Mold. HP
is an excellent mold killer. Simply spray on and then wipe off.
5.
Clean your
cutting board. Rinse the cutting board off after using then spray with
hydrogen peroxide. Let sit for a few minutes then wash off.
6.
Disinfect
dishrags and sponges. Hello germ collectors! Simply spray on hydrogen peroxide
while they are in the sink and watch it foam to kill the germs.
I hope these tips were helpful! Do you have a way you use
hydrogen peroxide to clean? Let me know in the comments!
